Due to its construction, using long thin cylinders, the
load is spread over the length of the needle (referred
to as LINE contact) offering relatively high loads &
speed capacity compared to their size.
With thin rollers, the outside diameter of the bearing
is only slightly larger than the bore.
This enables this bearing to be used in applications
where space is of a premium but performance
demand is high i.e. Gearbox
