Dyson Racing has joined forces with Status Grand Prix for its first assault on the Le Mans 24 Hours this year.
The British Status team, a race winner in both years of the GP3 Series, will provide technical, logistical and commercial support to Dyson when it brings its pair of new Lola-Mazda B12/60s to Europe.
Dyson team boss Chris Dyson, who will race one of the Lolas, said: "We are very excited to join forces with Status GP, a mutual friend of Lola and a group that has proven to be out of the top drawer in recent years."
Status founder Mark Gallagher said: "Our goal is to help ensure that this legendary team enjoys a highly successful event with minimum disruption to the defence of its American Le Mans Series titles."
Status has also gained a place on the reserve list for the LMP2 Lola coupe it is aiming to field in the European Le Mans Series.
